The 2019 Petite Sirah is a powerhouse but with firm but softening tannins on the back palate uncommon among Petite Sirah’s produced today. Dark blackberry with strong dark chocolate espresso mocha finish. Will age gracefully over the next 10 to 15 years and will evolve nicely in the bottle with additional bottle age.
The Charter Oak Napa Valley Old Vine Petite Sirah is 85% Old Vine Petite Sirah from the century old historic David Fulton Vineyard in St. Helena acquired in 1861 by David Fulton along with 15% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the same vineyard. Only 175 cases produced.
